Insbesondere der \u00fcberproportionale Anteil an Vorrangfl\u00e4chen f\u00fcr Windenergie im \u00f6stlichen Main-Kinzig-Kreis, im Odenwaldkreis und im Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis st\u00f6\u00dft in zahlreichen Kommunen auf Widerstand. <em>\u201eDie \u00f6rtlichen Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger sind verwundert und auch ver\u00e4rgert, dass die Beschl\u00fcsse und die Interessen vor Ort kaum ber\u00fccksichtig werden. Au\u00dferdem ist es f\u00fcr viele Menschen nicht nachvollziehbar, dass der Main-Kinzig-Kreis, der Odenwaldkreis und der Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis zusammen rund 75 Prozent der Vorrangfl\u00e4chen f\u00fcr Windkraft in S\u00fcdhessen vorhalten sollen.
